From the moment I met Nicola & Gordon, I was excited to make their cake. They wanted to include marble, metallics, fresh flowers, fruit and their favourite macarons... the perfect combination of textures and colours! The red velvet and chocolate & coconut cakes were iced in a serenity blue marble, finished with a rose gold metallic drip. I dressed the cakes using fresh figs, berries and soft pastel colour macarons. The flowers were from an amazing selection by Cath at Blue Poppy Florist. Cath creates the most incredible flowers! I love the archway and hanging branch, using dahlias, cosmos and roses homegrown from their flower farm.
