FAQs

How do I book my cake?
Please email or fill in the contact form with your date and a few details, to check whether the date is available. I'll contact you confirm the availability.

How far in advance do I need to order?
It’s best to get in touch once you have your date and venue organised, even if you don't know the design you'd like.  I only take on a limited number of orders each week. March-September dates fill up quickly, so it's best to secure your booking sooner rather than later.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
A non-refundable booking fee of £50 secures your date.  The remaining balance is due four weeks prior to your event day.

Can I have a cake sample?
We offer a tasting consultation for wedding cakes (maximum of two people).  If you would like a consultation prior to securing your wedding date, we can arrange a consultation at my cake studio.  This is charged at £30 which is then deducted from your deposit should you go ahead and place an order

Do you bake your cakes from scratch?
Yes, all our cakes are baked fresh for each order using the highest quality ingredients. We bake each one from scratch, no packet mixes or pre-prepared ingredients.

I have a allergy; can you cater for my requirements?
Our cakes can be made gluten free and dairy free, and taste just as delicious. I can provide a small cutting cake or cupcakes which can be kept in the kitchen and put out with your main cake. We cannot guarantee that our cakes have not come into contact with substances that may cause an allergic reaction i.e. eggs, nuts, gluten etc.

Can I choose a mix of flavours for my wedding cake?
Yes, you can choose a different flavour for each tier. For more information on flavours, please click here.

What are the prices for your cakes?
Each cake is unique in the amount of time required and materials used to complete the design. So for a quote, please get in touch using the contact page

Will you deliver my cake?
Delivery is offered on all our wedding cake orders. If your cake is two tiers or smaller in size, you can collect your cake if you prefer.  Three tiers or larger are delivery only as most of the time these cakes are constructed at your venue for ease of transport. If the cake is collected, we will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur after the cake has left our kitchen.

Can I decorate my wedding cake with fresh flowers?
Yes, it's best for your florist to supply these (as this allows for continuity) and we will decorated the cake. We will liaise with your florist regarding the floral requirements but please ensure you have ordered these in advance.
